Winter Master's thesis defense
Congratulations on obtaining a master’s degree! On January 14, the academic Master’s study program Information Technologies was successfully completed, with 9 international students successfully defending their master’s theses.
This time, the majority of the theses were related to applications of artificial intelligence in various fields, including medicine,
agriculture, beekeeping, network security, and others. The students trained and compared different models and proposed their own
solutions. Special recognition is given to the work of Krishanth Manivannan, which was defended with a grade of 10, supervisor: Associate Professor of the Institute of Computer Systems and Data Science, Dr. sc. ing. Aleksejs Zacepins.
During their studies, the graduates acquired in-depth knowledge of information technology analysis, design, and implementation
methods, as well as mastered modern software development models and techniques.
The graduates will be honored at the winter graduation ceremony, which will take place on January 29 at 11:00 a.m. in the Silver Hall of the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, where they will receive the degree of Master of Engineering in Information
Technologies.
