The in-person part of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) took place this week
On May 6, the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) "Business digitalization through e-commerce and digital marketing" (2023-1-LV01-KA131-HED-000119939-4) in-person part was launched.
Students from universities in Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria, Poland and Portugal participated in this programme. Online lectures were organised as part of this project from April 14 to 29. The lectures were led by several academic staff - Aleksander Lotko and Monika Maria Żuchowska-Grzywacz from Kazimierz Pulaski University in Radom in Poland, Žaneta Kavaliauskienė from Šiauliai State College in Lithuania and Dr.sc.ing. Tatjana Rubina from the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies.
The aim of the course was to introduce students to the possibilities of e-commerce and show that, despite the apparent complexity, anyone can understand the principles of new technologies and create simple solutions. The practical aim of the course was to teach how to create e-commerce solutions. The course covered various topics - modern marketing, user-oriented marketing, e-commerce business models, e-commerce website development, e-commerce trends and innovations.
The course was divided into two parts. The first part was online training, during which the student listened to video lectures and completed individual and group assignments. The second part took place in person at the premises of the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies. Students had the opportunity to continue to apply the knowledge gained in practice, in online classes. Students also jointly completed a group project, the presentation of which took place at the last meeting - on May 10.
In the face-to-face session, lectures were provided by the faculty of the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies - Dr.sc.ing. Tatjana Rubina, Mg.sc.ing. Inga Vilumsone, Mg.sc.ing. Jekaterina Smirnova, Bc.sc.ing. Diāna Bobriševa-Gončaruka. As well as Serhii Korotkov from the State University of Information and Communication Technologies in Ukraine.
