Our IT programs received excellent scores and are accredited for next 6 years
After more than a year of creating the accreditation report and the visit and evaluation of the international expert team, which consisted of representatives of Croatia, Finland and Latvia, all four LBTU IT study programs were accredited with excellent results for the next 6 years:
- Information technology for sustainable development (bachelor's level), Professional bachelor's degree in information technology / Programming engineer
- Computer Management and Computer Science (Bachelor's Level), Natural Science Degree in Computer Management and Computer Science
- Information Technology (Master's level), Natural Science degree in Information Technology
- Information Technology (Ph.D.), Doctor of Science (Ph.D.) in Engineering and Technology
Both bachelor programs received excellent ratings, while master and doctoral programs received excellent ratings.
All programs can also be implemented in English.
The experts recognized that the IT direction in LBTU is professionally managed and has high development opportunities. Two directions that should be improved in the coming years are an even greater number of foreign students and a more active participation of Latvian students in European student mobility programs.
